What a Life Group Means

A life group is a group that meets on a weekly basis to discuss the Bible more intently. Some say "Bible Study", but we differ because we intend to speak life into one another. Times are not as simple as they used to be, so we must constantly lift ourselves and others. Jesus knew this, so He spoke passionately about gathering in His name.

Aside from our weekly meetups, we also gather as men and women of God to discuss our roles, strengths and weaknesses in the Church. As the Bible says, "Iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17). These gathering help us stay strong in our roles, and go into the world with more clarity.

Frequently
Asked Questions

A Life Group is a small group of people who meet weekly to study together and to connect with God's word. They provide a safe place to encourage, challenge, and support one another enabling us to become more like Christ.

There is no commitment to joining our Life Groups. Though we encourage each person to stay as long as possible, we want everyone to feel free and comfortable to share and learn as they please.

There are a number of studies happening in our Life Groups which are, ultimately, up to the Life Group leaders. However, we are no stranger to taking requests should there be anything weighing on a member's heart.

Life Groups are for adults only, though we have no problem making exceptions. We encourage all parents to make arrangements for childcare, if possible, so they can get the most out of each Life Group session. We believe that the spiritual growth of the parents is one of the best investments that can be made to ensure a child's spiritual future.

Please reach out to us so we can make some introductions. We welcome anyone who needs a home, and would be honored to help you in your walk with Christ.
