Our mission is to glorify God by bringing people to Christ, cultivating Christian maturity, and developing the body of Christ for ministry and her mission to the world through Life Groups.
We share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost. (Mark 16:15-18, I Corinthians 15:1-6)
We participate in small Life Group(s) which foster love, fellowship, support and accountability while developing disciples. (Acts 2:46-47, Acts 5:42)
We salute God through prayer, praise and worship. (James 5:16-17, Mark 1:35, Matthew 21:22, Psalms 150:1-6, John 4:23-24)
We acknowledge that all that we are and have belong to God and that God commands us to be responsible managers of our resources. (I Corinthians 4:2, Luke 16:1-8, Luke 12:41-44)
We develop believers into spiritual maturity through biblical teaching, training and modeling a Godly lifestyle. (John 8:31-32, II Peter 3:18, I Timothy 4:7, II Timothy 2:15)
We look for opportunities to serve those in need. (Matthew 20:25-28, II Timothy 2:24-26, Galatians 5:13-14)
Harvest Christian Center organized as a church in April of 1987 under the leadership of Bishop Duane A. Ganther, which began in the living room of a home. By 2007, the church had grown to over 500 members and thrived in the heart of Inglewood, CA. After the deliverance of many, God called Bishop to start a new church in the San Fernando Valley where he strives to do as before.
Gathering in Life Groups once a week is our way of sharpening one another in Christ. Each week is a deeper, more
personal dive into today’s issues, and it’s one way the Bible commands us to lift each other in times
of hardship. As Jesus stated,
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18:25 NKJV
